Snowbird and Halloween

Snowbird gave out free tram rides to all those who donated food to the Utah Food Bank. Since Jordan has been BEGGING to go to the mountains. We jumped at the opportunity. It was a bit cold at the top but it was a lot of fun. Jordan liked the tram the best and Bella liked throwing the rocks.

Jordan thought it was so cool that he was on TOP of the mountains.

Its so beautiful up there.
Jordan's favorite part, the tram ride. He loved looking out the windows.
He was just the right height.

Oh and Happy Halloween. Here are the pictures.

Bella was a Princess, I forgot her crown. Oops.

Isaac pushed Bella around the block.
She held onto the candy for dear life.
She is my sugar lover!Jordan is talking to Grammy and Grandpa Mike on Skype. He is reading them the Halloween card they mailed him. He loved it!

This is a picture of all the Koch Grandkids. Megan and Isaac are dirt bike riders, this is their real motorcycle gear. Desiel is a Vampire. Halie is a devil dancer, I guess. Her outfit changed 3 times. Jordan is a fireman and Sam is a army guy.

Here is Jordan and Bella and Audrie. This is the best we could do. They WOULD NOT hold still.
Trick or Treating was pretty fun this year.
Jordan figured it out pretty quick.

We went trick or treating with my family for 2 reasons, Nate was at work and I got free tickets to the Utah football game. Yes, I denied my kids more candy to go to the game. What kind of Mom does that?

How Many?

When we moved in we didn't even know we had an apple tree. Spring was a nice surprise. Little did we know the work that would lay ahead. How many apples can this ONE tree make?

How about this many... plus 2 huge buckets my sister took and 1 bucket my Mom took.

Let the work begin. Its a good thing I have a little helper. We just put the first of MANY in the dehydrator.

Weighty Problem

So, my kids decided to SOAK the bathroom floor during their bath last night. It totally ruined my scale. I don't know if I should be mad or grateful.

Happy Birthday Jordan

Happy Birthday to Jordan. He is 4 years old already. He entered this world as quick as can be and it seems like the last 4 years have gone by just as fast.

Here he is on his actual birth day. Since he was an October birth, the hospital had orange hats with green tops for all the newborns. Those hands are the hands of both Grandmas.

Look how tiny!
His first day of preschool already.

We have continued the family tradition of decorating birthday rooms. My parents used to do this for me. This is what we wake up to the morning of our birthdays. Jordan was so excited, he actually came in our room and said Mom come see someone put balloons in my room!

He had school on his birthday so Mom AND Dad got to go to school with him. This is Mrs. Karen, his teacher, singing Happy Birthday to him.

Here are pictures of a few of his presents. More Cars, Trucks and Tools, what more could a boy want. (the spiked hair is courtesy of cousin Isaac)
Blake, Emily and Audrie came with us to McDonalds for presents.

Audrie is have so much fun sharing!

Nate got a little distracted with the Nintendo 64. Old School Fun!Happy Birthday Jordan! We love you!

I finally WON!

I have been signing up for "freebies" and contest like crazy lately. I figure its better if its free! Last week I heard about the website giveawaytoday.com. On this site they give a new item away everyday. So I signed up and then called my sister and told her about it, she signed up for the same item and guess what SHE WON. Not me. I was super jealous. I have been also been trying, not obsessing, but trying to get one of those really good Old Navy Coupons from www.oldnavyweekly.com. I found another website that does a live chat and rings a bell when the site updates. Well, I still didn't get a good coupon. Then the site had a give away for a $50 off a $100 puchase. I signed up for the giveaway and WON. Finally. I never win anything, maybe my luck is changing. So Monday afternoon, the kids are playing with Dad and I am off to Old Navy to buy my kids some new clothes and maybe something little for me too!

Freeze

Did you ever just want to freeze life just where it is? I think my kids are at the best age they could be. They are so fun to have around and are learning and playing so well. I just wish we could stay right here right now forever!
Bella is....
1. She has starting to climb on everything!
2. She LOVES to give kisses and makes the best fishy face when doing so.
3. She loves to play rough with her dad and her brother.
4. She still loves noodles, but will eat the extras like Lasagna and spaghetti.
5. She doesn't like to walk, she likes to run everywhere.
6. She is already talking back and screaming to get what she wants. If I say no to something she wants she screams YES right back. We are in so much trouble!
7. She loves to watch the leapfrog letter factory. I got it for Jordan but she could watch it all day, long if I let her. She doesn't even have to hear it, just watching the pictures is just fine.
8. She loves to twirl to the music. No matter whats on.
9. She loves her new shoes. Not on, but she likes to carry them around with her.

Jordan is..
1. Super creative right now. We can't go anywhere without "starting our engines" first. Even if it is just walking down the street. Then after a while, we stop and fill our gas tanks too.
2. He is super excited about school. I hope he likes it once I leave him on the first day!
3. He is learning his letters. Mostly by watching the Leapfrog Letter factory movie. He knows the sounds better than the actual letters.
4. He is doing boy things. He does blow kisses on his arm and then laughs and himself and burbs and laughs at himself.
5. He loves to dance to theme songs. Last year is was the Three Musketeers (with mickey, Donald and Goofy) this week it is the Imagination Movers. He knows the whole theme song.
6. He still loves his Mom! He loves to cuddle with me in the morning and sit on my lap.
7. He is super jealous of his sister. He hates when I have to split my time with both of them.
8. He still has to have his "feets cobered" (feet covered) when he has a blanket on. then he makes sure I have my feet covered too.
9. He thinks because he is 3 he gets 3 of everything! 3 books before bed at night and 3 pieces of bread during sacrament.

The only thing I would change about right now is wake up time. They have changed wake up time from 7:30 to 8:00 to 6:30 AM. I miss my sleep!

Lake Powell Part Deux

We are super lucky to be able to go to Lake Powell TWICE a year. This trip we improved from the last! Jordan went down the slide 4 times. Once he asked Uncle Dave to go with him while Mom and Dad we not around. Then he let the boat pull him around on the kids water skis, next time we are hoping he puts his feet in. Here are some of our fav pics!

Mmmm black olives, Bella thought it was so fun to put them on her fingers, it was the first time.
Throwing rocks with Grandpa! Bella LOVES to give kisses!Jordan water skiing on his knees. Such a serious kid.
Tackling Grandpa. That him with the white shirt hunched over. He is getting hit with noodles, climbed on, and tickled by 5 grandkids, and he laughed the whole time!Mom and Bella swimming, Bella loved the water!
